On 26th January, 2010, DREAM IT Project will hold the “1st National ICT4D Seminar” to bring together its researchers, Members of the Parliament, political leaders, policy and decision-makers and stakeholders in Mongolia.  The National Seminar will be held at the Chinggis Khaan Hotel. More than 150 participants, including representatives from IDRC, project Board Members, subproject team members, Member of the Parliaments, political leaders, policy and decision-makers, stakeholders and key country practitioners and researchers will attend the National Seminar.  
The conference is intended for people who are related to IDRC and DREAM IT project and therefore participation is by invitation only.

The National Seminar has five aims or expected outcomes:  
-    Formally launch the DREAM IT, Mega Mongolia project
-    Introduce the DREAM IT project, its objectives, preliminary outcomes and policy recommendations to MPs, political leaders, policy and decision-makers and stakeholders
-    Introduce and increase awareness of ICT4D in Mongolia
-    Award winners of Case studies and Best practices contest   
-    Facilitate networking and knowledge sharing
Also, the National Seminar will provide a space for stimulating dialogue among the participants to identify the ICT4D key issues in the country.
